When you join the unschooling community, one of the greatest benefits is knowing you aren't alone. You can give and receive support.

The next step is to find your local unschooling community. Connecting with other unschooling parents near you will help you and your children become part of a group on a similar schooling path. These moms and dads will likely be less judgemental and more accepting than mainstream parent groups may be. 

In the Mom2Mom group, each state or country has its own thread to find parents near you. To make it easy for you to connect locally, Sue has gathered a variety of Facebook groups centered in different cities, regions, states, and countries. She also provides connections to select-focus groups such as a Spanish-only international unschooling group.
